Looking out over the Dorset coast

Family Bucket List Challenge

We love being outside and traveling, having a young family makes the planning all the more important but it doesn’t stop us from getting out there! It might take us a few years to tick these off but here is my ultimate bucket list.

Pretending to be vikings

A Family Adventure in Denmark

I’ve always wanted to explore Scandinavia and Denmark seemed like a good place start – its always top of the charts when it comes to the “happiest places to live.” So flights were booked, plans were made and bags were packed!

Mini Adventure: Beryl’s Campsite

Beryl’s Campsite in the tiny village of Beeson on the South Devon coast. The campsite had some great reviews on the Cool Camping website and it was a new area for us to explore.

Mountain biking in the Quantocks

Mountain Biking in the Quantocks

I don’t manage to get out on my mountain bike as much as I would like and opportunities to ride anything other then local trails are even rarer, so when I had a child free day on the same day that some friends were heading to go mountain biking in the Quantocks I was there!

Canoeing on the River Wye

Mini Adventure: Canoeing on the River Wye

Last weekends mini adventure was a trip down the River Wye in canoes! We booked a half day trip from Kerne Bridge to Symonds Yat with the River Wye Canoe company and it didn’t disappoint.

Specialized Bikes coaching day with Katy Curd

I entered a random competition that popped on my Facebook feed a few weeks ago to go to a free coaching day by Specialized Bikes with Katy Curd and Helen Gaskell. I was lucky enough to be picked!
