Having loved camping in Devon in the past, we decided to head back to North Devon.

Here are my top 5 highlights from a fantastic week of family skiing in the Val di Fassa.
We love being outside and traveling, having a young family makes the planning all the more important but it doesn’t stop us from getting out there! It might take us a few years to tick these off but here is my ultimate bucket list.
I’ve always wanted to explore Scandinavia and Denmark seemed like a good place start – its always top of the charts when it comes to the “happiest places to live.” So flights were booked, plans were made and bags were packed!
Beryl’s Campsite in the tiny village of Beeson on the South Devon coast. The campsite had some great reviews on the Cool Camping website and it was a new area for us to explore.
We booked a pitch at Little Meadows campsite between Ilfracombe and Combe Martin for three nights.
Last weekends mini adventure was a trip down the River Wye in canoes! We booked a half day trip from Kerne Bridge to Symonds Yat with the River Wye Canoe company and it didn’t disappoint.
Our first visit to Châtel. Just a stones throw from the Swiss border. After the heaviest snow falls in Bath that I can ever remember we were lucky to make it to France at all!
The annual Big Bang Show by TSA was held over the weekend of the 14 & 15th of October at the Tamworth SnowDome. It is a fab opportunity to demo the new seasons boards as well as doing some coaching sessions for FREE!
I thought I would have to forego my yearly visit to the mountains due to the arrival of our second child in February. But we managed to sneak in a last minute trip at the very end of the season. Choosing the beautiful village of Civetta in the Italian Dolomites.
