After over 10 years of solid service my Hope Mono Minis disc brakes had started to show their age. Luckily for me the husband had a brand new pair of Shimano SLX disc brakes in the shed!

The Verderers Trail at the Forest of Dean is graded a blue (like with pistes, trails are graded green through to black). It is the perfect introduction to mountain biking. Or just brilliant fun for the more experienced rider to blast around.
