Family Ski Trip to Châtel

The annual family winter holiday and this years chosen destination, after much research, was Châtel. Part of the massive Portes Du Soleil ski area, which we have visited before, but not stayed in Châtel, which is just a stones throw from the Swiss border. After the heaviest snow falls in Bath that I can ever remember we were lucky to make it to France at all! We had to dig the car out of our street and our Thomas Cook flight was the only one to leave from Bristol Airport on Saturday morning. It was a well deserved glass of vino when we arrived – unfortunately the fun had only just begun!
